The video concludes at 8:30 "If you have children in school, make it clear to the teachers and school officials that you refuse have your child referred to any psychologist." That is what I diagree with, as I am training to become a psychologist and I help people overcome real life problems. I and most psychologists use counseling, not medication, to help people.

Rebecca, I too have a degree in psychology. The video documents some very ugly facts, the school of psychology has become corrupt as an institution. We do not need to be putting this kids on drugs, that was the point of the video, not avoidance of counseling. National Academies of Science's Institute of Medicine (IOM), preventable medication mistakes also injure more than 1.5 million Americans annually. There is a problem.

We are in 21 century and most Psychiatry professional have no decency. Freaks just pushing drugs like people was animals. Also the social factor like violence, closed childhood that don't aloow children to spend energy abd just be happy, the sexual opression (sick in USA, lead to formation of monsters. That's why society is crazy.

Psychiatry loves to just indicate drugs foregeting the human being and the reasons of the behavior. Today there ministrate drugs in children even if Science don't know well the long term effect of those drugs in brain still in development. so, can we trust doctors??? I think we can't!!

Regardless of the source of the video, the more relevant consideration is taking into account the MERITS of the argument made in the video. Kudos to YouTube in providing dissenters to get at the truth about ADHD/ADD.

For those of you who don't know "the truth about psychiatry" is a program of anti-psychiatry from the Church of Scientology. This video was more than likely produced and posted by the Church of Scientology. While I'm not going to dispute the merits one way or the other of the video's content the viewer should take into account the source before accepting the contents of this video.

Good video but I am not sure it brings the point home that there is a very clear and strong connection between pschiatric drugs and violence.

stop trusting in docs they are in it for their own paycheck esp those coming from the drug co's. You have to take your healthcare in your own hands these days because you can't trust doctors to be forthright and totally honest by informing you of the major risks associated with the "treatment" of "medications" or drugs. Legal and illegal drugs both have toxic effects.

Look deeper into the issue and you will see that people on these medications suddenly shows violent and suicidal sideeffects after taking psychiatric drugs. Just as you would see if they took streetdrugs, it isn't strange cause psychiatric drugs like ritalin, actually is pretty simular to cocaine

Awesome! experimenting on human children is perfect because they have no idea whats happening to them when the drugs start messing with their heads. then they go crazy, and the doctors proclaim they were right!! ingenious! with a system like this, we can prescribe psychiatric drugs anyone, and the more people driven insane by them, the more they get perscribed! yeehaa! we're gonna take over the world!
