That's not true... they don't ALWAYS give the Conn Smythe to a team that is on the winning team. The most recent one (in my memory) is J.S. Gigure of the Ducks when they played against Devils. The Devils won it in 6, but Gigure was the MVP (hands down) in those playoffs.In my opinion, it shouldn't have been Crosby or Zetterberg. I would have given it to Fleury. He really helped his team in the first few series and kept his team in the Finals as well.W/e, Hank played well and congrats.

wow i have never in my entire life heard a hockey fan who was not a leaf fan be more blinded by their team. Is this a joke? "fluery was the best player in the entire playoffs?" you have got to be kidding me. If he was o great why did they lose? if half of the wings should retire why did they beat your team? if syd is in a league of his own how come he doesnt have a ring? Syd has done nothing in my mind all he is is another eric lindros.

I LOVE HANK!wow crosby is good but he is a whiney little homo who dives on every play, complains about every bad call, and cant grow a mustach so he has to draw it on with sharpie! he doesnt deserve the stanley cup yet, he is too young. just look at dallas drake, hes played in the NHL for YEARS and this is his first cup ever!WINGS ALL THE WAY!

Zetterber won, sid did not.. and you is rigt about hank, he is not in the same league as the kid, Zetterberg is so much better.Both ways.

JS Giguere won the Conn after his ducks lost to the devils.. oh and zetterberg was hands down the best player in the playoffs, no argue.

Um....you think Crosby was dominated by Zetterberg this series? Zetterberg had 2 goals and 4 assists in the series. Crosby had 2 goals and 4 assists in the series. Seems pretty even to me. Obviously they're going to give the Conn Smythe to the MVP of the team who wins the cup, as they always do.
