You make mo sense with your begrudging argument ,Gilmour good as he is would send you to sleep with his monotonous guitar solos,U2 are still the biggest and greatest band in the world thanks mainly to the Edge his constant reinvention of sounds through the guitar make U2 the band they are,Any fucken idiot can go do a flashy guitar solo and make it look good ,so what if he uses delay its another way of playing guitar he can do it without it just as good, if you bothered to listen .EDGE ROCKS

I have to fully agree with 'itcurry'. What this guy (The Egg) is doing is, frankly, a poor and pale imitation of a REAL gtr wizard. Take for example, the guy from The Police - Now THAT'S how to do it! Or - while I'm on the subject - he couldn't begin to match Mark Knopfler's technical ability! So, what we have here is a copy-cat (Gilmour, Police) and a poor technician.My buddy would say of 'the egg', "He's one lucky, lucky guy".. BTW their songs are v. average - how many number ones??? True!
