this is one of my fav songs, guy penrod is one of my fav sings and also glen, wow.... i have been a church pianist since the age of 12, of course sang this many times....

This song brings memories of the quartette I sang with in the Philippines 40 years ago, and also that favorite program I tuned to with the same title (the Haven of Rest quartette singing their theme song)- all of these giving warmth and deep assurance to my soul- that indeed in life's turbulent seas, there's no other anchor but my LORD JESUS. He is my SOLID ROCK!
