asshole the point is that the music line is creating the story along with the animation and the point of it is is to show how tragic it is to loose somthing you really love but then the joy in finding it again! just imagin if you were stolen by someone and then was reunited with ppl u love! dumbass! god i hate ignorent people like you!

They don't just "go alien again"...they regain something that was ripped away from them. They get to return home and all of their memories have been returned. ...It's possibly meant as a metaphor, but more likely is simply a story line. In any case, the whole point is that it is a story set to the music...and it was entirely successful in that. You should look up some other Daft Punk stuff sometime if you liked the music.

not the biggest fan of anime, yet i watched all 13 of them. the music is the most legendary and quality electronica on the planet, daft punk makes real music.
