On our ballot today...my local govt proposed a 130,000,000 budget to improve road conditions in the area...and guess what.....republicans dont want to pay taxes to drive on good roads....so guess what....the roads fucking suck so bad I pay more in maintaining my suspension and alignment than my tax wouldve been. sorry, but its not communism, we have a representative democratic repubic regardless of taxes. People who make less money spend more percent of their income on necessities like food, water, clothing, etc, whereas people whos income is 250,000 or higher (who are getting bigger tax cuts under republican leadership) are less effected by spending money on necessities. Middle class people would not be effected, yet they vote for the party against their own interest of well being in society.
