It is strange how much Kevin Spacey and Neil Peart look the same...

I respect your point of view, no one truly KNOWS anything, therefore making one's beliefs and faith a system of one's level of comfort. But I do believe that something caused the universe to happen and give our minds the ability to contemplate philosophies of all kinds.

Lack of proof for one explanation does not prove another. Sorry. The person below who wonders why choose atheism has a point. There is no more reason to choose atheism than any one other specific religious path. I prefer to admit that I do not have the apparatus to perceive things beyond my experience, i.e. that I do not know. So I say, I do not know. I am agnostic.

Proof in the existence of God lies in that there is no logical arguement for the uncaused first cause theory- think about it
digiclowded (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
If you believe in the possibility of a higher being then you are not Athiest, you are in fact Agnostic.

Exactly, I feel that there could be some omnipotent force that ultimately decides the fate of the universe, but I also believe in adaptation and whatnot. Im glad to see someone with an open mind out there. :)Thanks for the compliments man, much appreciated. Sorry again about earlier, I kinda went off on a word rampage.

Believe it or not, I actualy believe those same things. I know it's not typical of what people expect of a Christian, but not all of us check our brains at the door. Just the more ignorant and vocal of us. Evolution and adaptation does not have to be considered contrary to the concept of a creator. Who is to say what means or time line God would choose to do his work? The idea that the earth is only 10,000 years old is stupid at best. By the way, killer job on Toxicity. Keep up the good work.
