It can appear to be for 'no reason' much of the time. Appeared that way to me too for awhile, so consequently I bought into the 'disease' bullshit. There are reasons though, they're just subtle.

oh really well that is funny since i have been depressed for no reason whatsoever on and off since childhood along with an anxiety disorder... hmmm i guess i must be the only one in the world this has happened to then. either that or you dont know what the fuck your talking about.
sociopathicregret (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
no there is not, the root is the situation, but it is perpetuated by a negative psychological state
lilmommax (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
also there is a warning on the bottle that ssri's are not recommended for children, much less being on a cocktail of them..

yes there is such a thing as non-situational depression, and that is the only thing antidepressants should be prescribed for.

First of all I'm not a scientologist. Psychiatry is fuckin evil. I caught an auto-immune disease and was wrongfully put in the mental hospital because it went to my brain and started hallucinating. For getting bit by an insect I was put in restraints in an isolation room for 5 days for being NON VIOLENT. The quickly dismissed me as nuts whle I coughed up mucus all over myself and nearly died. Luckily, I had a lawyer and got out. Got on antibiotics got well. Then I sued them.

There are alot of problems with psychiatry and people should be more perceptive on this issue of mass marketing and the damage it does to families.

psychiatrists had to invent their own book of diseases because pathologists would have nothing to do with them. its called the DSM, a great book of fiction. every disorder in the DSM is invented. every disease listed in a pathology text book is discovered. psychiatry is a pseudoscience and a very dangerous one. beware. |
