Maybe the hopping is imitating dodging bolts of lightning. This movement does depict a thunderstorm after all... lolMy fave of the concerto!

I think what´s great on Nigel is that he is soo much in his music! he is so inside it and it comes out so clearly what he wants to play. you can like it more or less, but he is powerful on this, and not all top musicians has it the same...
