If heaven exists and "Baby P" is up there, I hope someone sings him to sleep with this song.

For a 40 year old like me (and I am sure many of you) the great folk singers of the 60s (Seeger, PPM, Dylan) were the "allowed" link from my parents between "kids songs" and the eventual rise of Rock and Roll in my life. How wonderfull is it that even now I could play/sing these songs to my children and they can enjoy them. Of course how sad is it that so many of them like"Where Have All the Flowers Gone" are once again so relevant today.

This is a song from the imaginary friends perspective. When Jackie Paper "came no more" its a reference to him growing up and no longer visiting Puff in his imagination. The commentary of "present tense" is that we should NEVER lose our "inner child".

Oh God this song makes me cry...every single time...I love it though. I mean it was written like forty years before I was even born, but I remember watching the movie as a kid...so it reminds me of childhood...great song.
