You can also get better quality audio of this same song by buying his self-titled CD. About that recording Monte says; "As a teenager, I really became enthralled with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Both of us living in Texas, his music was hard to miss. His posthumously released version of Little Wing hit me very hard. I started just playing around with the song, not knowing the words, it eventually evolved into this epic jam. Why not put a deeper shade into the performance and build EXCITEMENT by summoning never imagined tones from a piece of crap pawn shop guitar looking like a weathered shoe box carpet taped together and at the end of the performance instead of plucking strings stomp itto coax unheard of tones.
