Yeah that's the truth, because I KNOW I remember seeing a version of this cartoon where the scene where Mickey puts Donald into a gun and fires him into the egg was cut out.I remember a scene where Mickey simply makes Donald dissappear out of his hand and reappear inside of a crystal ball, and Donald BREAKS it to get out. EIther that or that scene was from another cartoon, But it seems strange there would be 2 such simialr scenes.

My earliest memory of this was seeing an edited version of this cartoon where they cut the last part out where Donal pops up charred. I think they cut it out because it looked like an ethnic stereotype, but being the youngster I was back then and never seeing the cartoon before, it made me think that Donald died :( So, the whole cartoon brings back the early memories while the restored ending brings back more recent ones. It's weird how memories work.

I Rememeber Seeing That Ice Cream Spit At Donald. It Was My Favorite. When I Saw That Part When I Was Littie I Was Laughing Out Loud. Thanks For Bringing Back Memmories.

If I'm not mistaken there IS a version of this cartoon with both gun scenes edited out including the one where Mickey puts Donald into the gun and shoots him into the egg. I very vidily remember it being edited over with a scene of Mickey simply making Donald dissappear out of his hand and reappear inside of the egg, instead of shooting him in there from a gun.

BlueEyed-I agree! In fact a lot of those old cartoons had things like that in them!
