ya light source under the glass, picture(you have printed) emulsion screen next, cover to close out other light sources and that should work

Cheers man. I've read that you have to apply the emulsion in a dark room? Does it have to be a dark room? Or if I just pulled the curtains shut would that be ok?

on the side that wont be on the shirt, and no squeegy(wrong spelling forsure) and use the squeegy for the ink as well, they will have a whole section on the stuff you need at the art store. and its very easy

Cheers man. Which side should I spread the emulsion, or doesn't it matter? & should I just use a paint brush to spread it?

well( photo emulsion spread it across you screen, you print your picture to a clear paper and place it on the screen< expose it light for 3 mins, the place where the light couldnt go through will be able to wash away. there is your image stencil, print away(i have left stuff out) but works wayyyy beter i hve done both ways(and they sell kits at art stores)
