You are obviously not drinking real absinthe if you feel that way. Everybody has different taste, and not everybody will like it, but nobody who's had the real thing would describe it that way. That description is obviously of a fauxsinth/Czechsinth.

In my expeirience it doesn't matter what you do to absinthe. it's like 80% n tastes like radioactive eyeball juice. 1 shot glass, 1measure-yaaas=]
