I remember having one of those heat packs. It was back in like 1998, haha. When I visited my family in Korea. Those melt back to liquid when you put it in hot water and boil it. So you can reuse it.

you can put it in the fridge over night if you want to be safe but technically it just has to go down to 25 degrees C so you could leave it at room temperature for a while if your fridge is full
