The expensive adapters also vibrate the GG to get a cleaner image.

Where can I get one? Will it work using a Canon 3CCD camera? I'm shooting a short film this fall-

The foggy plastic works something like a projection screen. The image that comes through the lenses is "projected" onto the plastic, and the camera is actually recording what is being projected. In a higher end DOF adapter, you would have a piece of ground glass that would serve the same purpose but also allow for somewhat higher quality.Overall, this seems like a pretty cool idea for tinkering with. I may give it a try.

no. it depends on the distance between my cameralens and the focusscreen. if I made the tube exactly the right lenght it would work - but remember- this is the cheapest possible construction...

you dont need it for photography because you get the picture the dsl-lens produces right in your camera..

Can you use this for film making or photography or both? I'm shooting a short film this fall with a 3CCD camera I think this concept could give my production a film look.
