I think Lucas was Polish. I remember, he released this song in '94, then he made a comeback, in late '97, as part of a duo, with a female singer. Unfortunately, yet again, he failed to break into the mainstream.

one of the best songs of the year in my opinion. didnt get the airplay it deserved. i reckon if it was used in an advert on telly today you would be looking at a massive summer anthem. still sounds as fresh today as it was when it first came out
