yeah, it's a mess and the US needs to accept that and move on. i was too young to remember why were there in the 1st place. some WMD or some bs like that. im interested in how they handle Pakistan and Osama. that will be interesting b/c they have a new president and the ppl don't want us in there. i just hope they dont abuse the power like they did in Iraq, also that they dont use so many mercenaries and let the situation get out of control. it's all about foreign policy, Obama needs to fix that

I can't help but to smile everytime i see or hear someone use the words "anti American" or Anti-anything, simply for being questitive. Patriots believe it or not, are just that. How else do you think things change ?... Blind obedience and acceptance can be the most ungrateful and unpatriotic act of any citizen. Not agreeing with socially established ideas, agendas and how to solve matters are equally as important for any citizen to be; if not critical to, then at least questitive.

No problem. I think after the swift military victory the US administration had no plan for the peace. They first excluded Saddam's followers then they employed them. The US policy reckoned on international support but no democratic government can sign up to the project given the way the war is prosecuted. Even the UK is unhappy with the way the some US troops and many mercenaries operate. Hopefully Obama will have some clear plan. The US has its problems at home without an Iraqi quagmire.

Being in a 3rd world country 6000 miles from our borders that doesn't have a navy, air force or a nuclear weapon isn't exactly defense. Do you still really believe this?It is horrible that any soldier dies in our uniform but if you occupy a nation then it's inevitable. I won't take your words as insults but I'm neither gay, hippy or left wing, I'm a right wing non-interventionist conservative and that's the future of the Republican Party.... if you ever want it in power again.

The Blackwater operatives weren't accused of any wrongdoing in New Orleans, but then again, the threat was overrated.If Blackwater winds up in New York City, I'm buying an M4. There's no way I'm answering to those guys.

they tried to fix too many small prblms. when they should have taken the system apart completely and built it back up. yes this plan would last just as long as it did. that should have happened if we were going to war, but i dont think we should have been there in the 1st place. Obama needs to get out quickly and quit the funding for these companies. b/c their goals and the gov'ts goals differ. if the U.S. was going to war all allies need to have the same goal. sorry my reply took so long.
