i think that direct drive is better cause i think its eaiser to work with, and that it will last longer than belt drive

can the direct drive rip vinyl to? And whats better for just playing and recording i thought the direct one would be better since its quicker and looks like it has a better response ?

technically u cant scratch on a belt drive coz the platter is not sterdey enough and makes the stylus jump and u need a lot of torque coz wen u scratch on a belt the platter stops and u need the platter 2 be moving quick 2 make the different scratch sounds with the pressure and speed u put on the vinyl so it makes it impossible 2 do :)

Nice advice thanks :) , not only the "American Aoudio TT" belt drive response with a little delay but it also doesnt have the functions that the KAM DDX-500 :)has. |
