it's a year since this video was posted. we need to raise further awareness, my pony was rescued from the trade 2 years ago and is now just one double clear round from the british novice second rounds. these horses could have a future, but if we allow these horses to preserve their lives, nations equestrian federations may be bettered!

Hi all,It's damned straight, no one should be allowed to eat horsemeat, not even the European people, if they should look into the agreament, after the worldwar in Europe, American soldiers brought the horses back to where they've belongd in Vienna, and with their action on this, they've made an agreament not to slaughter horses any more for humanly consumption, they've should only be worked into dog food and cat foodTake care

hey you, horses are NOT livestock. they are not bred as food animals in the US. its illegal to eat horse meat in the US. so before you go telling people its necessary, get the fucking correct information.dumbass.

all those horses... It's so sad... I've always thought of horses as companions and friends, I hate to see them sick and dieing.. aw the horse at 4:55.. :'(... Aw love the part at 7:27. I think the killing of horses should stop all together

Everyone commenting on here seems to be absurdly caught up on the idea that horse slaughter should be stopped. LISTEN TO THE VIDEO. Nobody's trying to stop horse slaughter. They're lifestock, it's necessary. They're trying to stop trucking live horses from UK, Romania, etc. all the way to Italy for slaughter. The lady said she wants it to be more feasable to ship the carcasses only. They'll be just as dead, only they don't ride as far to slaughter.
