Ehm, they let Rob solo. Have you heard any of the shows from the sick of the studio tour? He solos like you would`nt belive it! And the man is fucking awsome!!! I love that man! He brought Metallica back to life!

Newsted was good but Musicaly Rob is a much better Bassist. If the rest of the band werent such pompus idiots they might let Rob solo and you would get to se just how talented he really is. No one can take his place but Rob is a closer representation of Clif.

they dont play the intro cuz the intro consist of 4 guitars acustic arranged harmonically, plus 2 electric guitars thus the band does not play the intro.
