didn't mean that...that was just an example xDim sayin that yngwie dont sweep taking notes from different positions of a scale (= arpeggio) he sweeps literally positions of an scale up and down...if u don't understand me with that i just give up xD it's kidan tricky to explain

Improvising is always harder than playing something you already know, but what's that to do with arpeggios or sweep picking? If you meant Malmsteen isn't good at improvising, you should have said so in the first place, because he can definitely sweep pick arpeggios without a problem.
