Using the pulse motor, I am making an alternator similar to a homemade windmill alternator. Magnets on a steel plate(to increase the magnetic field) rotating N S N S N S 6 pole n45 2"x1"x1/14" around the stator consisting of 6 coils wired in parallel (inside to inside and outside to outside)I can't wait for my magnets to arrive.

Hi,I'm building my own wind turbine and need to know more about what type of alternator to use. Baring in mind that I'm a student and poor, so if possible could you recommend a cheap alternator.Would a solenoid work to generate a voltage? Thanks for any tips!

use wind as your source of power, wild and magnets work hand in hand

Agreed. You should also look into how flux works. It helps to understand magnets inside and out too (fields, forces, induced current, etc).

Was very impressed... until you dropped a real clanger.A powerful magnet is NOT a continuous source of energy, it's like a powerful rubber band... it is NOT a source of free energy !! To obtain continuous electricity you have to use mechanical energy to move your coils over the magnets. And if the magnets are more powerful, you need more effort to move those magnets !! Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm sure you're learning fast...cheers, good luck.

To save time and energy connect a DC motor to your motor with gearing or pulleys for mechanical advantage, because all DC motors are generators then use an inverter to turn the DC to AC.

how do you setup the rectifier

You need to do away with the outside source of energy. To learn how this is possible, simply watch:Part 3 - Stator for a Fuelless Magnetic Motor - BlueprintandPart 4 - One Way Magnetic Shielding - The Wholly GrailNow you will know how to get rid of the battery.Great work, nonetheless!James

Well...if the ultimate goal is to get "free" energy, the experiment will fail miserably. It is not possible to get more energy out of the system than is being input. However, if the goal is to see if you can construct an alternator with perhaps more efficiency than a typical auto variety, then he might be successful.

if he made an alternator lets assume that he knows what he's doing electronically. ppl experiment to see there output on there homemade gen's often
