There is no doubt this is her gift. plus she grew up with a lot of inspirational musicians from different musical backgrounds. that why in my opinion...her playing and sound is very unique, very different sound from other percussionist. she is an inspiration for this generation. expecially for many female drummers. thanks, sheila!

hola... hace 17 años que toco percucion empezé a los 3 años y nunca toqué con una mujer percucionista y esso, me alegraria mucho... cuando veo este solo de conga por dios, me sube la gana de bailar y estoy contento muy contento que una mujer toca las congas aiaiaiaiai esso viene del corazonmio.

Used to see Sheila, Pete, Coke, Luis Gasca, etc. with the Roger Glenn Band at the Reunion on Union St. in San Francisco back in the seventies. Insane good times!
