Academy Award nominee Gus Van Sant directs Academy Award winner Sean Penn as gay-rights icon Harvey Milk. Mr. Milk (1930-1978) was an activist and politician, and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in America; in 1977, he was voted to the city supervisors' board of San Francisco. The following year, both he and the city's mayor George Moscone were shot to death by another city supervisor, Dan White. Mr. Milk was previously the subject of the Academy Award-winning documentary feature "The Times of Harvey Milk," but "Milk" is the first non-documentary feature to explore the man's life and career.

It was never our place to "point out the wrongs in their doing"! You're completely missing the point; only God is allowed to judge us, wheather your Catholic or Jewish or Mormon, even Bhuddist! Our God is the judge of us, and its nobody elses place to do so. You keep using the line "God made us in seperated sexes" but if you think about it, if it were so wrong for us to have same-gender sex, then he would have made it impossible!

Its everybodies right to choose their orientation, and the bible says that God loves you unconditionally. If that were true, then the religious would have no right to persecute gay people. God isn't an "I love you but..." I've never really been anything but an anti-homophobic.

I really have no problem with gays, but Gus Van Sant, I think I might have a problem with him. After he made that dumb movie about a rock star who wasn't Kurt Cobain, Has led me to believe that Gus Van Sant is a director who's movies SUCK. AS DOES THIS ONE! Go SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!!!!!!
