Good idea. :)BTW, the Wind is still only an Atom 1.6 (same as my newer Asus EEE 1000H which I do o/c as well as high as 2.0Ghz stable) and I gotta say the difference in HL2 on my old 701 @ 900mhz (which is what made this video) and the 1000H while o/c'd is negligible at best. Both units have 2gig RAM as well, not sure if that factors in but thought I would throw that out.

(PS. Why dont you put the instructions in the description? Everyone whos ever played HL2 would love to know how to do so again on a netbook!)

Its a hit or miss with the O/C for everyone. I havent touched nor added anything to my Wind, but I am lucky enough to have the 24% clock stable (totaling 1.9mhz+hyperthreading!). People reach 2.2, with stock cooling, also stable, but its also a hit or miss. I just installed Win 7 (7000). Runs beautifully, even w/o the O/C.

can u provide a link on how to do this? I have the MSI Wind, with a O/Ced bios, so it should run leaps and bounds over the 900mhz. Explain or link plz? PLZ??? :)

Isn't that a restaurant? ;)

The EEE itself was running 900mhz instead of it's default 630mhz setting. Which 900mhz on the 701 is actually what the chip itself really can do so not really overclocking.
