Hey KC2XL, fellow bodybuilder here beginning his hypnosis learning,Do you think it could be possible to use hypnosis to enhance workouts ? Like giving the suggestions that you wont feel the pain in a set and will be able to move more weight.Maybe it could be triggered by an anchor (NLP way).Whats your take on that?

Please review the video and note these two things:(1) I referred to my client as a somnambulist.(2) However, I did not refer to the depth of the hypnotic state he had just entered as somnambulism. The person in the video is a client of mine, with whom I've worked several times. He is certainly a somnambulist. But, this video clip was posted to demonstrate 3 inductions; it was not posted to prove the client's depth of hypnosis, and it was not posted to demonstrate a somnambulistic state.

are you sure he's in somnambulism? No test for analgesia? no spontaneous amnesia? no display of ability to speak in hypnosis while eyes are open and with successful test of analgesia?

Yes, I have occasionally used self-hypnosis, mainly for relaxation and concentration.

So, have you ever tried to use hypnosis on yourself? Just too help you, say, focus on a task or try to remember something? That is if it's possible to do that.
