But if you watch the video carefull particular at near the end, there was no disarm. The attacking guy is still holding the knife.

I must admit, I am quite impressed with the demonstrations on these clips. Do you have any schools that teach these very techniques in New York City?

Aha, But I do know. About disarming, let me quote from the inteview of Leo Gaje by Jason Baird 2004.What do you think about most disarming techniques?That is fancy stuff. Introducing that sort of technique will get somebody killed. It is impossible.There is no such thing as defense. Knife vs. empty hands, will never work. Disarms and empty hands against the knife, these are Hollywood style techniques. It will never work.

It may look similar, but they are different. The strategy and footwork is different. For example PTK do not believe in disarm, but DTS emphasis it.
