I do Ninpo Taijutsu and I'm finding it fun to see all the similarities and differences between what I do and what's in this video. I really love taijutsu. It really seems to be the best most practical martial art of them all.

Thank you so much for putting this on youtube. Ive practised this before as part of the Genbukan organisation. Do you train? If so where, cos Im in Japan now and I cant find a traditional ryuha anywhere. Cheers mate.

In case anyone is wondering why the guy is flipping the other guy over (literary), in the old days that "flipping" (1.33 into the clip) was actually a drop. The opponent would drop the other guy on his head and neck causing injury. This "flipping" seen here was introduced as a way to practice the drop-manouver safely. |
