I really wanna learn Aikido and I love it, but at least let the attacker punch LOL Poor guy just sticks his arm out. This techniques does work though learned it in Ninjutsu love it, very simple as well.

for all those who say Aikido moves dont work, we use like this in our Taekwondo class to defend against punches and grabs and stuff, we do it fast and without the mats and trust me, it hurts even when we take care of each other. If you turn someones wrist to the point where it will break if they dont drop to the floor, they drop, happily.

i think i replied in the wrong place lol

Because people don't charge like that first of all (where the momentum of their whole body is in the punch, except for the occasional superman punch). Secondly they don't allow wrist/finger locks precisely because the wrist/fingers can break so easily, which can end a fighter's career.

well I dunno , but there are others techniques as lethals as the kotegaeshi ( wrist turn).

this move will not work if opponent is holding a tight fist?
YiuYeung (October 3, 2008 at 7:08 am)
Thanks for the reply. MY other question is that why is this not used in the UFC? thanks~
redenied (October 3, 2008 at 6:55 am)
yes , because the turn of the wrist is so hard and fast that if you dont follow the movement it can breaks very easily as a stick
YiuYeung (September 29, 2008 at 4:53 am)
seriously, the wrist will be broken that easily?

I know this move you cross your thumbs when both of your hands are on there hands then you pivit your back leg and twist your other foot around then you twist there arm side wards and left and they fall...easy |
