Leave it to Americans to adulterate everything right in the world. Isn't that right? Don't make it sound like we're struggling to fill in some kind of cultural void with our "weird American influence". There isn't a constant stream of "twisted meaningless" shit being pumped out. A lot of it is significant including Requiem for a Dream.

Around the 8th minute the soprano sings with vibrato! My God...[any]...

Excuse me, Gyorgy Ligeti [Hungarian!]

well, then a 'requiem for a dream' would be a 'song to honor dead/unfulfilled dream'. what doesn't make sense about that?

this comes kinda late but... "lux aeterna" means eternal light and is a requiem, a requiem is a song to honor the dead, requiem for a dream makes no sense whatsoever and is yet another twisted meaningless "thing" made by weird american influence... prly has something to do with the movie called "requiem for a dream" where I believe this song or perhaps clint mansel's lux aeterna participated with...americans...
