I used to see these guys all the time in biker bars down south before they got famous, back when I was in the Army (drafted, not enlisted). Back in the day. The bar fights were even more fun to watch (or be in) than the band was.

it's not the length of the solos in these songs it's the ability of musicians like Duaneto be able to structure the solo in such a way that it becomes part of the the song. it's not just a matter of playing a bunch of notes really fast it's thinking in terms of the context of the song and making the solo compliment the the song as a whole instead of ...it's my solo time ...let me show people how great i am.that's what makes a musician great
