I'm doing a project on Lady for Language Arts. mostly research and stuff, and I think i'm going to bring in a recording of her singing...this is the first time i've really looked at her music, but wow. I feel like i'm gonna let her down or something idk. and i'm just writing about her life...and here i am scared to death that i'm not gonna do her justice, even just as a report. is that weird?But heres to Billie Holiday, the Lady Day, the Eleanora Fagan we all love. thats why she was enormous.her performances were great because of the way she sung em.not necesarily the quality of voice.
