When Low Ki was forced to vacate the PWG World Championship, PWG Officials determined that a one night tournament would be held to crown a new champion. With his victory over Rocky "Azucar" Romero at PWG's "Pearl Habra," Roderick Strong was awarded a bye into the tournament finals.
