the music is really annoying

i can agree with you he does need to keep his hands up more. the most simple technique of boxing, kickboxing, thai boxing or any kind of fighting
tainueng88 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i agree he seemd to want to try to outbox him my thoughts exactly when i watched the fight

Duh, why shouldnt he, then? Either way, Masato was really prepared for the match. And his boxing skill is more superior than Buakaws. Buakaws weak point is lack of defense technique for close range striking (Im not talking about elbow or clinching & kneeing like in Muay thai rule). He is a great Muay Thai fighter, but hell continue to struggle if he doesnt adjust his style to K-1s.

haha because buakaw didn't even use his teeps or his roundhouses to his full extent like he did in their first bout. he was trying too hard to outbox masato which didn't work.

And you should remember what happened in their 2nd fight.

you should remember buakaw wrecked masato in their first bout. boxing didn't do much there.

its really hard to say, in most rinf fights, muay thai fighters have dominated the boxers.masato, who has great kickboxing probably has the best hands in the sport, which is why hes so great.but remember, when masato went to compete in thailand years ago, he got his ass kicked.but its really the fighter only, and how they use the two, hands and legs. now a seasoned trained boxer who has basic muay thai, with years of taking leg kicks, thats would be dangerous, haha.

I agree its better in some ways but, if one fighter has a background in boxing more than muay-thai traditional methods he will win. Look at Masato he has insane boxing skills coupled with basic muay-thai and he is crazy good. All the fights I have seen its the guy with the best hands that seems to control the fight. Once your inside kikin range those kiks lose effectivness and muay-thai's boxinf elements are not that well placed.

no way muay thai is better
