if it easy for other country to kno then i understand. but luk at them, they not like super popular in the world like big bang or other group or sumin. so wat is the a waste of time creating a english name. they not gonna be a big super star through out the world.

i think you should stop saying saying vn as a whole. im vietnamese and i dont do this. and the reason why they do, is becuase it would be easier for other countries to pronounce their name.

As for being Koreanized, so what if he wants a Jap/Korean name? He can do whatever he wants. I actually don't mind if its an English name...but Korean and Japanese name when you are VN is kind of...stupid haha.I'm just stating my case that American names are fine, but anything other than that just doesn't seem right.Btw, I am in no way a fane of Wanbi. Haha I just happened to drop by and stated my reasons. =)

I see where you are coming from, and I actually agree with your point. I don't know if Wanbi is an American name or not, probably Korean or whatnot, but I do notice that English is the most universal language being used today; therefore, a lot of people tend to get English names so they could communicate and be recognized better. Take Jolin, Show, Ruby Lin, Nicholas Tse, Dicky, Aaron, Andy, etc. for example. They all got English names...why can't those singers in VN have one too?

if it is a nick name don use it in the music. we r growing up. not other people. if u vn then use vn. vn is a copy cat copy korean n other countries that not vn. name is a name no nick or anything not like chatting in yahoo or somthing. i got a nick name is call but nobody use it. it is call lisa. minh tuyet is minh tuyet not aubrie. so vn need to fucjing stop. being a copy cat is nothing great all u need is to be ashame of ur sefl. |
