Seckou's quartet was wonderful in Derby last week. Angel music. Who's was the lovely little boy 'Karim' who played djembe at the end - breathtaking, not just his playing but his expressionism - he was only about 5! Thank you SKQ.

Sorry, but has to be said - you're an idiot. Seckou's a griot, bringing his own music, his own tradition - not some kareoke band. For what you want to hear, head down to your local on a Wednesday night, there'll be someone there in your league.

Just saw this guy performing in Bury St Edmunds. If he'd even attempted 'Blowing in the Wind' I'd have assumed I was having a bad nightmare. It's just unimaginable. Like Robbie Williams trying to do what Seckou does. Come on. Seckou Keita is a GENIUS.

very good, i saw you at stanier hall in wem...i think you could do very well if you put some flamenco style songs into your shows aswell as the latin/african influence stuff you do, which is also very good...also try playing a few well known folk songs for the country that your visiting, so like if your playing in the uk, play and sing with audience, blowing in the wind and stuff like that, come up with funky versions with your style, so the audience can sing along too, just a suggestion
