Right. I study Kyokushin and try my best not go in head first. Im not as wide and heavy some of the guys in my school so I have to be smarter. Which is hard since some of these guys I train with have much more experience on me competition wise.

Ok i guess I get what you're saying...but if you compare this match to some of the Kyokushin full contact matches these guys seem like they are just foolin around...although i understand that the addition of knees would have an effect on the range and therefore the tempo...idk watching after what you said tho i can definetly see their fear of getting it in the face with a foot controlling the pace of the fight

If you were any kind of a professional you know exactly what there doing and why they dont fly in full bore. They are excellent fighters. Ive been fighting full-contact no gloves for some time now, and we can always tell the first timers cause all over the place, going to fast and leaving there pearly whites wide open for my foot cause they dont take there time and "play around" as you so eloquently put it. Not mention its a good way to make a mistake and break you foot. Heh, I know.
