Why Do Some Women Want Married Men

We hear about it all the time, that woman who seems to want to get with every married man that she comes into contact with. A lot of us balk at the idea because we are married and we don't want to think of someone who should be on our side going after our man, but it happens more often than we even realize. A lot of women are chasing married men and they would never admit it to anyone, perhaps not even themselves! A lot of women find the married man intriguing and something that they just cannot pass up.

Women are very competitive with one another. In fact, a lot of experts say that all of the preparations that a women goes through to get herself ready for work or play is not for the men in her life, but the women. What better way to compete with the female race than to go for the husbands of other women? Men are often said to be easy to seduce, so when you get down to it a woman usually does not have to work all that hard to get what she wants from the man to actually compete with other women!

Other women like the idea of having a relationship with someone who is unattainable or off limits. Women often feel like they need to possess a certain public face and that leaves them wanting to do something "naughty" when no one is looking. How better to do this, to rebel against societal demands than to spend time with a man who is not supposed to be with you?

A lot of women like the idea of being the other woman. To some this is sexy and makes them feel more wanted than they do in a relationship. There is a lot of power in knowing that you have enabled a man to cheat on his wife and this often results in a woman feeling sexy and more confident in herself. A lot of women only date married men for this exact reason.

Many women who are scarred emotionally only date married men. They consider married men safer because they can be with them when they want to, and then send them back to their wives. Essentially, this keeps a woman from really attaching herself to a man, allowing her to avoid getting hurt in yet another relationship.

This often starts out being a good idea, but many women will end up falling for the married man that they vowed not to fall in love with, only to get hurt again. In theory this works, but unfortunately women tend to get very emotionally attached to those they spend time with, and when it is another woman's husband the outcome is almost never good.
